At KCEOC KY Career Center Jobsight, our mission is to assist individuals in finding meaningful employment opportunities and enhancing their skills to qualify for better jobs. We cater to a diverse range of individuals, including adults seeking employment, workers facing dislocation due to closures or layoffs, and economically disadvantaged young people requiring support in education, training, and entry into the workforce.

Comprehensive Services for Career Advancement

Our services encompass various programs tailored to meet specific needs:

Opportunity Youth Program

Tailored for 18-24-year-olds not attending school, providing career planning, employment, and training assistance for those with criminal records or other barriers to employment. Services are contingent on federal guidelines and available funding.

Dislocated Worker Program

For individuals aged 18 and above who have been laid off and are eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits. This program offers career planning, employment services, job search assistance, tuition support for training, and additional supportive services.

Mining Program

Aimed at individuals aged 18 and above laid off from mining positions and eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits. This program offers career planning, employment services, job search assistance, tuition support for training, and necessary supportive services.

Adult Program

Serving those aged 18 and above who are unemployed or considered underemployed based on their wages. The program provides career planning, employment services, job search assistance, tuition support for training, and necessary supportive services.

Employer Services

 Dedicated to assisting area employers in finding and preparing skilled workers. Services include on-the-job training, work experience, and job fairs, with the goal of connecting employers with qualified, skilled workers.

Resource Room for Online Career Exploration

Our Resource Room is open to anyone needing internet access for job searches or computer facilities for updating resumes. Operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Resource Room is a valuable space for enhancing digital job-seeking capabilities.
