KCEOC Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of Career Advisor in Knox County. The Career Advisor will work with adults and conduct weekly Job Clubs. Responsibilities include recruiting, planning, organizing, and participating in work readiness activities to provide participants opportunities for academic or job-related learning. The Career Advisor will work directly with the clients to provide case management and will also be responsible for reporting activities in a timely and efficient manner.
A Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Social Work, Education, Business Administration or a related field. Skills needed include oral and written communication, data entry, technology (Microsoft Excel, Power Point and social media) and the ability to maintain a high volume case load, multi-task and serve as part of a close knit team. The position will require some evening and weekend work.
