KCEOC Community Action Partnership is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Community Engagement Specialist. The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible: for partnering, collaborating and actively participating with community organizations, events and councils that affect KCEOC children, families, staff and the community; training/certifying staff in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid; ensuring effective transition services for all children entering and exiting Early Head Start and Head Start; updating Community Partnership Agreements; conducting CLASS observations; and organizing and overseeing support groups for children and families.

Local and occasional out of town travel is required.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Applicants should have a minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education, human services or a related field. Trainer certification in CPR is preferred.
